Caitlin Parr has taken on the Home Water Conservation Challenge by sharing some of their water conservation actions in her household.
We have removed the trap on our kitchen sink in order to retain leftover dish water (which we also use minimally – running one sink of water for the day’s dishes). Then, we re-purpose this water in the vegetable garden. We have also been collecting the water from the warming of the shower for this same purpose. We’re still working to decrease our water usage, but these strategies have been a great start!
