Morden, Winkler, and the RM of Stanley are working together to reduce water consumption in light of the extreme drought conditions in the region.
As a result, a new program to provide rain barrels at a cost-shared rate to residents has been developed.
These rain barrels will be available for purchase at each of their municipal offices for $130 each.
The rain barrels include:
- 100-gallon vertical poly tank
- 8” lid assembly (installed)
- 8” basket strainer (installed)
- ¾” Bulkhead (drain) (installed)
- ¾” MPT nipple (supplied)
- ¾” single union valve (supplied)
- 1-1/4” bulkhead (overflow) (installed)
- 1-1/4” 90 deg hose barb (supplied)
