The City of Morden is offering an activity kit with the theme of water conservation as part of our FREE Activity kit series. The series started at the beginning of June, and there has been a great response from families who have been enjoying the crafts and activities that have been included.
Families must register to receive the kit, which will be available for pickup on Monday June 21, from 4:30-6:30 pm at the Access Event Centre.
In this kit, your kids will get ideas and supplies for the poster contest as part of Morden’s Youth Water Conservation Challenge. Submitted entries will be entered into a prize draw for a youth water conservation package! The Activity Kit will also feature water saving puzzles, a raincloud craft, and a create-your-own water conservation superhero activity!
This activity kit was created with kids aged 6-12 in mind, but anyone is welcome to register.
Below is one of the instruction sheets that will come with the Activity Kit. You do not need an activity kit to participate in the water conservation challenge. Learn more about the Water Conservation Challenge at conservation.mymorden/contests.
